Surface Decoration Workshop

Finally a group event!

Following a nearly 30 month limit to studio activities, sfclayworks had a weekend workshop led by Nina Saltman. @saltmannina  There was a long list of topics covered including stamps, carving, sprigs, slip decoration, using underglazes, and slip transfer.  The workshop was well attended and everyone had a great time talking clay and having a masked social event. It will be interesting to see how these new techniques become part of our members pieces. This workshop will also be followed up with a workshop focused on handles later in the month.
